Teach with us

Musicality Central is an adult-focused, open-style movement studio rooted in strong fundamentals, thoughtful instruction, and community-centered energy.

We are intentional about who we bring into our space.

Our clients trust us to provide high-quality, structured classes that balance growth with fun — and we protect that experience carefully.

If you’re interested in teaching a weekly class or hosting a workshop with us, please read below to ensure alignment before inquiring.

Who Thrives Teaching Here

Our instructors are:

  • Experienced teachers (not just strong dancers)

  • Confident in breaking down movement clearly

  • Comfortable teaching true beginners

  • Open to feedback and collaboration

  • Professional and prepared

  • Focused on client growth — not ego

At Musicality Central, teaching is not about showcasing choreography.

It’s about helping adults understand how to move.

We value instructors who can:

  • Explain the mechanics behind movement

  • Build progressions thoughtfully

  • Create a welcoming, ego-free environment

  • Balance challenge with accessibility

  • Maintain consistency in class structure

Our clients range from first-time dancers to experienced movers. Your ability to teach fundamentals clearly is non-negotiable.

What We Look For

If you’re applying to teach with us, you should have:

  • Prior teaching experience (studio, college, professional, etc.)

  • A clear understanding of foundational movement in your style

  • Strong musicality and body awareness

  • Professional communication skills

  • Reliability and respect for shared space

We are especially aligned with instructors who value growth, culture, and community over hype.

How to Inquire

If you feel aligned with our values, please email us with:

  • Your dance resume

  • Videos of you dancing

  • Videos of you teaching (if available)

  • Footage of students you’ve previously trained

  • A short description of the type of class or workshop you’d like to offer

  • Why you feel you’re a strong fit for an adult-based studio

Submissions without teaching experience or video materials will not be considered.

Due to the volume of inquiries, we will only respond to applicants who align with our current needs.

Final Note

Musicality Central has been intentionally built as a space where adults feel safe to grow, take risks, and evolve in their movement.

If you believe in structured training, client-centered teaching, and contributing to something bigger than yourself — we’d love to hear from you.
